QAZIIM Academic Council

QAZIIM has established an Academic Council as a permanent collegial advisory and decision-making body responsible for guiding the Institute’s scientific, clinical, and educational development.

The Academic Council is composed of highly qualified specialists, including professors, associate professors, assistant professors, PhD scientists, senior and junior researchers, clinicians, and PhD students. This multidisciplinary composition ensures balanced representation of fundamental science, clinical practice, and translational research, as well as active involvement of early-career scientists in academic governance. The Academic Council considers and approves key strategic directions of the Institute’s activities, including research priorities, clinical programs, educational initiatives, mentoring systems, infrastructure development, international collaboration, and commercialization of scientific results.

In 2025, three regular meetings of the Academic Council have already been successfully conducted. During these meetings, a wide range of strategic and operational issues related to research projects, clinical implementation, training programs, academic mentorship, quality assurance, and institutional development were discussed and resolved through collegial decision-making.

The Academic Council plays a central role in ensuring academic integrity, scientific excellence, and alignment of QAZIIM’s activities with national and international standards in biomedical research and healthcare innovation.
