Regenerative medicine

What is regenerative medicine?

What are stem cells?

Research and Innovation at QAZIIM
Regenerative medicine is a cutting-edge area of modern medicine that aims to restore, repair, or regenerate the structure and function of damaged tissues and organs. Unlike traditional treatment methods, regenerative medicine focuses on treating the root cause of a disease, not just the symptoms. This field combines cell therapy, stem cells, molecular biology, bioengineering, and artificial intelligence.

*******

The human body is made up of billions of cells that perform various functions. Among them are stem cells, which have special abilities.

The main properties of stem cells:

  • self-renewal

  • differentiation into other specialized cells

  • support tissue regeneration

Regenerative medicine uses not only stem cells, but also special cells that activate regeneration.

QAZIIM is developing cutting-edge technologies in regenerative medicine. We have patents registered in the US, EU and Japanese patent offices. We recently received an invention patent for the treatment of ischemic diseases using extracellular vesicles derived from cells associated with regeneration.

Regeneration-associated cells (RACs)
Regulates ischemic tissue repair, angiogenesis, and inflammation.

CD34⁺ cells
Endothelial progenitors responsible for blood vessel regeneration.

CD133⁺ cells
Early progenitor cells activate tissue regeneration.

Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC)
Anti-inflammatory, indirectly supports regeneration.

iPS cells
Designed for disease modeling and future personalized therapy.

Extracellular vesicles (EVs)
Delivers cell-free, safe, highly effective regenerative signals.
